I recently completed the Toast Bakery kit from Tonecheer and give it a five-star rating. This build showcases impressive attention to design and execution.
The functional knobs with springs and the side button mechanism that operates the bread pop-up feature are both clever and satisfying. The decorative silver edge stickers on the wooden knobs add polish, and the shelving throughout is beautifully scaled.
The paper pieces were pre-die-cut, which streamlined assembly. One particularly clever solution: Tonecheer printed matching alignment symbols on both the acrylic graphic and the door itself, eliminating guesswork when lining up the piece. It’s practical problem-solving that demonstrates real consideration for the builder.
The assembly tool arrived slightly loose and required gluing, which is unusual but easily resolved.
Overall, the Toast Bakery reflects thoughtful engineering and clear instructions. Assembly is smooth, and the final result is charming and well-executed. The battery-powered operation functions reliably.
I recommend this kit to builders of all experience levels. It’s an enjoyable, stress-free build that delivers a beautiful final product.

I had an enjoyable time building this kit. Not the easiest, but follow the directions carefully and it will come together wonderfully.

The kit is very challenging although the instructions were well written. It helps to have some experience with these 3d animated kits
The best advice I can offer is get a small battery operated rotary sander or dremel tool. You will need it to smooth out all the gear teeth. Also make sure you lubricate the gears very well. This is key if you want smooth operating movement throughout the build. Rigging the masts with the wire was also a bit tedious…pays to have small hands and fingers!
Overall, a very satisfying experience

This is absolutely lovely. It was my first kit with gears. They went together really easily. Everything fitted in place as it should, the wiring was easy to handle, just need to follow the instructions step by step. A lot of people seemed confused about the magnets because it says you have to identify north and south. No you don't, take a small magnet and a large magnet, they will join together naturally. Colour the outside of each in a different colour leaving the two attached sides blank. Fit the small magnet downwards with the coloured side up and fit the large magnet into the gears with the coloured side facing down, the two non coloured will then join when you place the skaters on the rink and will work perfectly. I kept each set of magnets seperate in little plastic boxes so they didn't keep trying to join up with each other.

The kit comes with two scenes so you can make this a regular winter scene, or there are several Christmas accessories so you can add to make this a Christmas scene.

It's a good size with plenty of space for personalization if you want.

Highly recommend this, even as a beginner, provided you follow the instructions you will end up with a beautiful build.

Well worth the $. Sturdy, good directions, and fun to do. I added small cats for more fun.
