This was such a fun activity! My parents got this for me as a Christmas present, and I have spent the last three days working on it. The wiring was a little tricky but the instructions are so detailed i was pleasantly surprised by how well it came out for a first try. I am most DEFFINETLY getting another to add to the collection. ❤️😊

Tonecheer is one of the top companies for quality, interesting, and unusual builds. They have a lot of designs other companies don’t even attempt. This is one. It’s challenging but not difficult; you just have to take your time and pay attention. The design is very detailed and has many elements reflecting DaVinci’s genius. My favorite is the “elevator”, which took some trial and error to get right but finally moved perfectly. You MUST wax everything really well when the instructions say to. Another great feature is the fireplace. The kit includes red glass chips to pile in the fireplace in front of the flame, and the light behind the flame flickers so the final version looks very realistic. I’ve done more than three dozens book nook and other miniature building kits, including Tonecheer’s Van Gogh, and this DaVinci kit is high on my list of favorites. Tonecheer isn’t cheap, but the quality and uniqueness make up for that.
