This kit is so unique . Lots of moving parts . Took awhile to build it , but it was fun and the results was rewarding . I can't stop playing with it . I added a few colors and extra gears of my own.

Just about everyone who visits Prague sees the clock tower. This kit is not an exact duplicate but is as close as the kit designers could get and still make it a fantastic kit. It is printed on plywood for the most part (often on both sides) with beautiful graphics that reek of quality. There are electronic parts to use (lights and a sensing device). There are many gears that make two action areas - the clock itself and a raisable platform so the (theoretical) workers can fix whatever breaks. The kit provides wax to make the parts move smoothly - use it!! This puzzle is outstanding - usually I have been constructing puzzle boxes (like Mecanigma and Architecto from NKD but I thought this would be a good change-of-pace project. It was. It was fun and took me about 12 -14 hours to do it. I work slowly to try to make the project as perfect as I can. One of the things I always do is to get rid of the little white connectors and use a colored pen to match the color of the part edge. It makes for a nice edge and doesn't leave little white dots to distract the viewer.
Anyway, a great project (especially if you've been to Prague) and great price (if you compare the price and quality to other brands). Nice job Tonecheer!!

This nook is well designed with great graphics and clear instructions. Because it’s a broad cultural survey, it also lends itself to customizing to other cultures and even story lines from movies and novels. Beautiful when built as designed and beautiful when customized—it’s great for several levels of hobbyists.

Love this build . Took a lot of time but the outcome is rewarding . I added more cogs/gears and changed some of the colors to my liking . Great job Tonecheer . I want to build more of this type Steampunk style.
